Lightning Mate manages your Lightning node so you don't have to babysit it. It connects automatically to your Umbrel Lightning (LND) node.

See channels with live balance bars and source / sink / router roles, a full Forwards routing report, and a Profit & Loss overview (routing revenue vs channel-open and rebalancing costs). Get scored channel-peer suggestions from the network graph and open channels in a click, plus a node health score.

Flip on the Autopilot and the node tunes its own pricing, runs only profitable rebalances, and opens channels to top peers — all on recommended settings with safe caps and cooldowns.

Buy and sell channel liquidity on the Amboss Magma marketplace right inside the app: purchase inbound, list your own offer, and let the Autopilot fulfil orders — opening channels to buyers within your capital, channel-size and on-chain reserve caps.

LSP mode (beta) turns your node into a Lightning Service Provider: wallets speaking the open LSPS1 standard (bLIP-51) can buy inbound channels from you directly — priced automatically, paid via a hold invoice that only settles once the channel is opening, refunded automatically on any failure. Off by default.

Lightning Mate signs in with the per-app password Umbrel generates for it (shown when you open the app), so no other app on your server can read your node or move your funds.

A major upgrade — the Autopilot is now volume-first and profit-aware, and the node can act as a Lightning Service Provider.

LSP mode (beta): sell inbound channels directly to wallets speaking the open LSPS1 standard (bLIP-51) — priced by the same profit-aware engine, paid via a hold invoice that settles only once the channel is opening (automatic refunds on any failure), guarded by shared capital caps. Off by default.
More completed forwards: an optional autopilot pass keeps each channel's max HTLC just under its spendable balance so senders skip depleted channels, and a new "Unserved demand" panel shows the forwards refused for lack of liquidity — where a rebalance pays for itself.
Reworked pricing engine: low, competitive channel pricing by default (and a zero base rate) to win forwards, with profit floors so a channel never routes below its refill cost; a channel that stops routing is automatically priced cheaper until flow returns — and the engine remembers the price at which flow came back, returning straight to it next time.
One-click Strategy — Max routing / Balanced / Max profit — tunes pricing, rebalancing, channel-opening and Magma together, and applies instantly.
Paced, self-correcting adjustments: raises wait days, cuts step once a day, protection ramps gradually; rebalancing is profit-gated with a daily budget and backs off failing routes.
Amboss Magma, built in: buy inbound liquidity, sell your own with adaptive auto-pricing and a market-aware slider, optional Autopilot fulfilment — plus market fill telemetry that watches the order book around the clock and prices your offer toward what actually sells, and a seller-score coach.
Channels: on-chain close dialog with a chosen confirmation speed; channels stay visible as "pending open" / "pending close" until they confirm.
Dashboard: a "today" digest (what the autopilot last did, next run, alerts), routing at a glance (24h / 7d), yield on capital vs the market lease benchmark, a Profit & Loss overview, and a node health score. Mobile-friendly.
